My Self-Summary
I enjoy joking, laughing, laughing at my own jokes whilst people look at me in bewilderment.

Been to Australia a few times now, I love going abroad when I can. But alas because of what I mention below I doubt I'll be going anywhere for the next billion years.

Things I couldn't do without: Macbook Pro, iPhone (how did I cope without this before?!), books, comedies, a towel and numerous other things.

I am introverted, compassionate, and an evil genius

What I’m doing with my life
Working as the "IT Manager" for a print company. I am the only IT guy there, which has its good points and bad points. Job security is very good, but having anyone to talk to on the same wavelength is non-existent.

The job title is actually a catch all phrase really, if it has the slightest thing to do with anything computer related then it's my job to fix, set-up or install it.

Every weekend now i'm going out walking on the trans pennine trail, part for the exercise as I hate running and part just to get outdoors away from everything. It's quite liberating, I can see why people have canalboats. No hectic life.

I'm laying back, putting my feet up and letting the tide do the rest.

I’m really good at
Trying and failing to learn German.

All I've really learned so far is that ich = is and nicht = is not.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I've just finished reading Footfall, overall a fun read I thought.

My favourite book is Catch-22 yet conversely I have never finished it, weird eh?

Okey dokey, films and tv time!

Everything Monty Python, South Park, Black Adder, Brass Eye, Columbo (just one more thing...), Drawn Together, Spaced, every single Pixar film, Terminator 1 & 2, Leon, Wallace & Gromit, Look Around You, Die Hard 1, 2 & 3, Dilbert, Clerks, Alien, Aliens and Alien 3, Dune, The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, Battle Royale, Groundhog Day, 12:01 PM, Catch-22, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The Blues Brothers, Batman, Batman Returns (Michelle Pfeiffer in a catsuit and high heels = instant favourite), Maîtresse, Secretary, The Usual Suspects, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Mystery Men, Platoon, Futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy, Trigger Happy TV, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, The Producers, Beavis And Butthead (huh huh huh), Father Ted, Shrek, Scarface, Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Ronin, Red Dwarf (series 6 and below), Matrix, Blade Runner, The Shawshank Redemption, Akira, Star Wars trilogy (there were NO episodes 6-9), Star Trek, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, Mystery Science Theater 3000, 2001, Dr. Strangelove Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb... and on and on.

Books & Authors:

Simon Singh: Fermat's Last Theorem, The Code Book.
Brian Bagnall: On The Edge
Orson Scott Card: Ender's Game
Joseph Heller: Catch-22
Peter F. Hamilton
Arthur C. Clarke

Lots more, but I've forgotten the names. I'll add them as I check up on my book collection at some point.

I better add websites I visit since they are classed as reading I guess:

BBC News, Slashdot, Penny Arcade, XKCD, Techdirt, TorrentFreak, Ars Technica, Kotaku, Joystiq, MAKE, Boing Boing, Digg (to be honest a lot less nowadays, it has gone downhill), Fark, zeropunctuation
And plenty of others I'm forgetting.

If I go adding games I've played and like I may just go and break this website. Nonetheless to say, I like cake and it is very tasty.

My musical tastes are eclectic to say the least; a thorough listing from my ipod:

Annie Lennox, Beastie Boys, The Beatles, The Beautiful South, Beck, Bellowhead, Blur, Bob Marley, Boomtown Rats, Buggles (video killed the radio star), The Cardigans, Catatonia, Chemical Brothers, The Clash, Coldplay, Cranberries, Crowded House, The Cure, Dandy Warhols, David Bowie, The Divine Comedy, Echo & The Bunnymen, Elvis Presley, Elvis Costello, Enigma, Eurythmics, Faith No More, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Feeder, Finlay Quaye, Fiona Apple, Fluke, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Garbage, Goldfrapp, Gomez, Gorillaz, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Harry Belafonte, Heaven 17, The Housemartins, Imani Coppola, James, Jamiroquai, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Johnny Cash, Joan Osborne, Kaiser Chefs, KT Tunstall, Level 42, Lightning Seeds, Limp Bizkit, Madness, Madonna, Manic Street Preachers, Mark B & Blade, Massive Attack, Maxim, Moby, Morcheeba, Nelly Furtado, Nirvana, No Doubt, Oasis, The Offspring, Paul Weller, Pink, The Police, The Prodigy, Propellerheads, Pulp, R.E.M, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Scissor Sisters, Semisonic, Sheryl Crow, Skee Lo, Skunk Anansie, Smash Mouth, Smashing Pumpkins, The Specials, Spooks, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Stereophonics, Stone Roses, Supergrass, Tears For Fears, They Might Be Giants, Travis, The Verve, Weird Al Yankovic, Wheatus, The Who, Wildchild, Wyclef Jean...

I told you, eclectic.

(I think I may have missed some out)

I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21-40
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals, casual sex
You should message me if
You like my vague, yet strangely compelling profile..

You want to spout abuse at me, tell me how great I am, send a message to a complete stranger and so on.

You like Beatles Rock Band and wish to form a band upon which to become gloriously known the world over.
